Thank all of you who turned out last Thursday to meet Dallas Shaw, see the latest collection of Botkier bags & try on a tunic or two from Theodora & Callum.

New Arrivals – UGG, Joie, Jbrand, Vince and more!

We opened the box from UGG & were blown away!

Both styles of espadrille wedge – the ankle-wrap Lucianna ($150) & the Tawnie slide ($130, also in sand) -

are so incredible & reasonably priced that we’re guessing they won’t last long.

The recent shipment from Joie was filled with tops that are in Patty’s words, “10s!”

Whether you were in the market for a long-sleeve blouse ($178), a tank or the gorgeous Katheryn sweater ($198), you are

bound to get a winner from Joie this spring.

J Brand’s newest cut, the 835, crop skinny leg twill jean in tangerine ($169) will knock your socks off!

Just look how cute Katie Holmes looks in it.

She uses these jeans to create a whole colorblock outfit, with a top in one color, pant in another, shoe in a

third & bag a fourth.

This is a huge trend going forward.

Below the 835 is J Brand’s famed 811 skinny leg ($176) in the incredibly versatile nude.

Bucking the whole color trend, Cameron Diaz goes neutral all the way in her stone linen blazer,

white top, nude jean & sand sandal.

We’re ga-ga for this Frayed Jacket ($395) from Vince.

Inspired by Chanel, this jacket is couture deconstructed into sleek, modern sportswear.

Depending on how you look at it, this piece is an edgy classic or a rebel in a conservative shell.

Starting with the rainbow striped Lindsay ($275), moving to the gold snake Biba ($328) & ending with the

Vero in ocelot ($350), Kate Spade has been working some serious magic with wedges this spring.

And we’re not alone in our thinking.

The Lindsay was featured in Lucky magazine’s March issue as one of their favorite spring shoes.

Spring Arrivals: Theodora & Callum and Botkier

Every season, Theodora & Callum astounds us with gorgeous colors, patterns & scarf fashions.

For this Thursday’s trunk show, they promised to bring some newer styles including scarf tops, which can be worn as a tunic over white jeans or as a cover up, as well as the full-length cover-ups.

If you’re anything like the celebrities, you won’t want to miss out on these sensational pieces.

Everyone from Reese Witherspoon, to Molly Sims, to Hally Berry, to Barbara Walters to Oprah have jumped on the Theodora & Callum bandwagon.

Why wouldn’t you? Their pieces make the outfit!

The spring collection from Botkier arrived in the store like a breath of fresh air.
We love the subtle shades of nude, lavender & taupe; the varied textures of lizard, snake & pebbled lambskin; the gorgeous shaped satchels, hobos & totes.
If you want to cleanse your fashion palette, start with one of these understated beauties!

Last week, Nancy introduced us to Kate Spade’s vibrant spring collection.

With solid bags in florescent tones, neutral ones with bright tipping, or colorblock ones, Kate Spade has embraced the bright color trend with open arms.

But that doesn’t mean she’s not turning out classic quilted bags like the Mt. Perry Zippered Darcy ($328) above.

Retro-looking or sleek & modern, Kate Spade always adds a fresh twist to her designs.

Dressy in Silk

Simple, understated, this Vince slik blouse ($275) is just the kind of top Christy gravitates to.

She’s wearing it here with the MiH Marrakesh ($205) & Kate Spade’s Vero wedge ($350) in a simple spring/summer look.

For color & sparkle, we added a Miguel Ases dangle ($220) & Rafe’s Slowey shopper in white ($375, also seen here in black).

Theory’s Deronisa silk top ($200) works beautifully alone or under a jacket, cardigan, blazer, etc.

The bight violet color is stunning.

We offset the color of the top with AG’s straight leg Charlotte jean ($164), Cordani’s Russell sandal ($240) & Botkier’s Phoenix satchel ($575).

Echoing the color of the top is Coralia Leet‘s T-Bar earring ($380).

Christy has a great sense of what she likes, looks good on her & works with her lifestyle.

When she saw this linen blazer from Vince (385), she said it was right up her alley.

As she noted, you can dress it up with a silk blouse or down as she does here.

Paired with the blazer are a Vince stripe tank ($58), AG straight-leg Charlotte jean ($164)& Bettye Muller’s Clever espadrille wedge ($195).

For jewelry, she’s wearing Viv & Ingrid’s spiral wrap hoop ($250) & Kathy Kamei four-circle necklace ($268).

With this blush ensemble, Christy is still casual but with a distinctly feminine flair.

Anchoring this look are a Christopher Fisher polka dot cardigan ($315) & delicate Theory tank ($255).

Both pieces deserve a closer look as the detail of the silk back of the cardigan & raw-edged pin-tucks of the top are fantastic.
