Dresses That’ll Make You Green with Envy
Nothing says “holidays” better than this DVF dress in green, black & gold brocade ($398).
Fitted & knee-length, the Blee is flattering without being racy.
To see all of the Miguel Ases styles available, be sure to stop in the store Thursday evening!
Theory’s Nicoletta cap-sleeve, silk dress ($325) offers easy glamour.
Stunning with a boot, bootie or heel, this dress is a case of wear it now with tights; wear it later with a wedge sandal or metallic flip flop.
The accessories stress black & shimmer.
The shoe’s Kate Spade’s Case strappy heel in black shimmer ($350, to preview all Kate Spade shoes); the satin beaded clutch is from Tory Burch ($275); & the chandelier earring is classic Miguel Ases ($252).

Less-Dressy Dresses
In a t-shirt cut with pockets, Theory’s Yinley dress ($275) hits a more casual note.
Its silver silk allows it to be worn year-round.
For now, pair it with tights & a bootie like Paul Green’s Karina ($275).
And when the weather warms, go with bare legs & a cute kitten heel or platform sandal.
Playing off the silver tone are a multi-strand beaded necklace ($374) & Lauren Merkin Allie clutch ($250).
All the gals fell in love with this fabulous faux wrap leopard dress ($259) the moment they laid eyes on it.
And it’s even cuter on!
Wear it solo, with a cashmere wrap, under a black blazer & more!
To up the glamour factor of this look, we opted for dressy accessories including Bettye Muller’s black patent peep-toe heel ($385, to learn more about this & other Bettye Muller shoes), Glamourpuss’ fur clutch ($275, available at Thursday’s trunk show) & Alexis Bittar’s gunmetal feather earring.

Winter Wonderland Wear

This navy pattern sweater ($295) from Theory proves that winter wear doesn’t have to be dreary.
On one side of the pullover, the pattern is a tight herringbone & on the other, it’s a geometric zigzag.
We paired it with AG’s Stilt cord in black ($172, to see this & other cords), but it could just as easily work with grey twill, dark denim, winter white & more.
The cable hat & fingerless glove are both from Autumn Cashmere while the bag is Tory Burch’s Robinson tote in grey flannel ($295) & the boot is Attilio Giusti’s Jodphur in black patent ($340, to learn more).

A black legging is a wardrobe staple.
Below are two very different ways to wear it.
The first look is evening while the second is day.
Get the most out of this comfortable Three Dots legging or whatever pair you currently love!

Here the Three Dots legging ($175) is dressed up with Autumn Cashmere’s Lace-Trim Tunic ($330).
Perfect with a skinny jean, velvet legging, dark cord, this fun top is sweater & blouse rolled into one!
To liven up the look, we accessorized with contrasting color & sparkle.
Adding shine & movement is Paige Novick’s rose gold tassel necklace ($395); Libby Edelman’s bead-studded pump is all about shimmer & Rebecca Minkoff’s Buckle Clutch in ring lizard ($295) echoes the rose gold of the necklace & provides texture.

Headed to the city for the day? Catching lunch with friends?
Anchored by Theory’s Aletia cardigan ($365) & the same Three Dots legging, this look is put-together yet super comfortable.
Throw on colorful tee or Tucker blouse ($292) & you’ve got a solid daytime uniform.
To maintain a sophisticated feel, add a boot – in this case Stuart Weitzman’s 50/50 boot ($595, to consider all Stuart Weitzman styles) – colorful earring with pop ($175) & fun tote like MZ Wallace’s Ava with black sequin bands ($185, for our MZ Wallace selection). |
| We are open Sundays 12 – 4 p.m.!! Come visit, do some early Christmas shopping & enjoy your lazy Sunday in Style!! |

Two things are for sure … aging & near-sightedness.
And one thing can make both look better: EYEBOBS!
So look hip & cool in readers & spare yourself the moving of menus farther & farther away.

Eyebobs offers a wide array of fun frames with traditional reader prescriptions.
Whether a correction of 1, 2, or 3, there’s no need to go with some fuddy-duddy frame from Walgreens.
We’re not alone in thinking these readers are the bee’s knees.
The limited edition Katie’s Close-Up, top left, is named one of Val’s picks in the December 2011 issue of O magazine.
